Note that many of these offer monthly contracts so that you can 'experiment' (bear in mind there will be connection charges.)

Before purchasing any Broadband hardware items please also ensure that your service provider does not already supply the necessary hardware to get you up and running.

Microfilter Splitter

These microfilters represent excellent value for money! You will need an ADSL splitter (sometimes called a microfilter) for each phone socket around your house. The splitter separates the ADSL (high frequency) signals from the analogue phone (low frequency) signals. The splitter includes a UK ring capacitor for devices with a REN of up to 2.6.
